Just east of Kahala, Hawaii Loa Ridge is regarded as one of Honolulu’s premier gated communities. Known for its spectacular ocean and coastline views, this East Oahu neighborhood offers a private retreat for those who prefer to be away from the city center, but enjoy the convenience of having just a short drive into the city. Hawaii Loa Ridge has traditionally been known as “the” luxury real estate ridge in Honolulu with beautiful custom homes with panoramic ocean, coastline, and mountain views. The late Al Masini, producer of “The Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” chose Hawaii Loa Ridge as the neighborhood for one of his homes. Developed in the 1980’s, Hawaii Loa Ridge actually offers two gated communities – the main Hawaii Loa Ridge home owner’s association and The Pointe, which is a gated community within the main gated community.
